The Ashland Ridge PTO is once again collecting labels from Box Tops for Education, Labels for Education, and Tyson products. Simply clip the labels neatly and send them to school with your child; place the labels in a baggie or envelope and write your teacher’s name on it. Labels may be deposited at the front of the school in the big Campbell’s Soup can. Volunteers collect and count the labels around the 20th of each month. All funds earned from the collections are deposited into the PTO’s general treasury.
Each month the class that collects the most labels wins a prize! In September, Ms. Robinson’s first-grade class was the winner with 1,034 labels. The students received motivational pencils, and the classroom will host the traveling trophy for the month of October.
If you’re not sure what we are collecting, take a look at these examples. Thanks for your help!
