Making a Difference at Ashland Ridge

What has the PTO done for Ashland Ridge Elementary? Since the school opened in 2008, the PTO has been able to provide a significant amount of equipment and other items to the students, teachers, building, and grounds, including:

    • Additional Playground Equipment worth approximately $30,000
    • Additional Computer Lab worth approximately $13,000
    • Library Books worth approximately $48,000
    • Campus Beautification Project
    • Media Center Furniture
    • Kindergarten Chick Incubators
    • Character Counts T-Shirts
    • Kindergarten Die-Cut Machine
    • Portable P.A. System
    • Rock Wall worth approximately $10,000
    • Interactive white board, labor and installation for the art classroom worth $2,000
    • Ipads worth approximately $14,000

Each year the PTO also provides:

    • Stipends for each teacher
    • Funds for classroom projects
    • 3rd-5th Grade Student Planners
    • 5th Grade T-Shirts
    • 2nd Grade Insect Zoo Presentation
    • 1st Grade Donuts for Dads & Muffins for Moms
    • Kindergarten Boo Hoo Breakfast
    • Field Day BBQ Lunch
    • Teacher Appreciation Lunch & Breakfast
    • End of Year Safety Patrol Picnic

The PTO has raised an additional $9,000 to purchase library books.
